Placed inside the exotic Cubbon park at Kasturba Road, the famous Bal Bhavan is a much desired amusement park and recreation center for children of all ages. The park houses a number of entertainment facilities to please children like boat rides, horse riding, tree houses, swings etc. Bal Bhavan also features a dolls museum that boasts of exquisite dolls and toys from all nooks and corners of the world. The small toy train inside the park offers train ride to the children and the theater organizes children's film shows and theatre performances. The other remarkable feature of the park is its 2 crore years old fossilized tree which was presented to Bal Bhavan by the Geological survey of India. The play ground area of the park is big and accommodates a number of tiny tots playing and twiddling leisurely. The park is a beautiful and must watch site in Bangalore and a wonderful leisure option to reckon with.
