Bal Bhavan Bangalore

Placed inside the exotic Cubbon park at Kasturba Road, the famous Bal Bhavan is a much desired amusement park and recreation center for children of all ages. The park houses a number of entertainment facilities to please children like boat rides, horse riding, tree houses, swings etc.

Bangalore Aquarium

Built in 1983, the magnificent Bangalore aquarium is placed at Kasturba Road at the very entrance of the splendid Cubbon Park in the city of Bangalore. The aquarium is one of the most exotic abodes of aquatic life and the second largest aquarium in India. Bangalore aquarium is placed inside an octagonal or diamond shaped building that boasts of 3 spacious floors.

Bangalore Palace

Built in 1887 by Wodeyar dynasty, the colossal Bangalore Palace is located in the Palace Gardens of Bangalore. The Palace is an architectural marvel of the bygone era and vaunts magnificent woodcarvings and Tudor-style architecture.

Bull Temple

The exquisite Bull temple was built under the direction of Kempe Gowda, the founder and designer of Bangalore in the 16th century AD. The temple is placed in Basavanagudi and is one of the primitive temples of Bangalore. Bull is an auspicious creature and said to be the vehicle of Lord Shiva.

Cubbon Park

Built in 1864, the famous Cubbon park is located near Gandhi Nagar in Bangalore. The park was constructed by the then viceroy of Bangalore, Sir Mark Cubbon and was hence named after him as Cubbon park. Sir Richard Sankey engineered the Cubbon park with such finesse that it serves as one of the prime tourist attractions in Bangalore.

Gandhi Bhavan

Gandhi Bhavan is situated at the Kumara Krupa road in Bangalore. The Bhavan was built in the late 40's under the direction of Rajendra Prasad, the then president of India. It was originally named as Gandhi Smaraka Nidhi, but later the name changed to Gandhi Bhavan.

Government Museum Bangalore

The Government Museum was constructed way back in 1876 by Colonel Sankey near to the famous Cubbon Park at Kasturba Road in Bangalore. The museum is a wonder land where one can find a number of vestiges that date back to 3000 BC i.e. from the Indus valley civilization, especially Halebid, Vijayanagara and Mohenjodaro.

Iskcon Temple

The Iskcon temple of Bangalore is a magnificent temple built to the west of the Chord Road in the city of Bangalore. The auspicious temple is an architectural marvel, designed in neo-classical style while incorporating all hi tech amenities of today's era. The temple is placed on a seven-acre hillock, known as the 'Hare Krishna Hill'.

Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens

al Bagh Gardens are the result of the ideation of Haider Ali and execution of Tipu Sultan. Haider Ali wanted to build a massive garden with a generous number of floral species inside it.

Nehru Planetarium

Jawahar Lal Nehru Planetarium was built in 1989 at T. Chowdiah Road in Bangalore. The main aim behind establishing this massive planetarium was to offer understanding of the life beyond earth, facts of the universe and knowledge of the solar system to the people especially students.

Tipu Sultan's Fort and Palace

The magnificent fort was originally built by Kempe Gowda in 1537 AD in Bangalore under the rule of Vijayanagara Empire. After the fall of the empire, Bangalore passed through several hands and ultimately feel in to the lap of Haider Ali.

Ulsoor Lake

Ulsoor Lake is a man made lake constructed way back in the 16th century AD by Kempe Gowda II, near to the M.G. Road in Bangalore. The lake is a mesmerizing water body that spreads over an area of approximately 1.5 square kilometers.

Vidhan Soudha

The architectural marvel was built way back in 1956, under the direction of the then chief minister of Karnataka, Mr. Kengal Hanumanthaiah. The building was primarily constructed with a view to pay tribute to the Indian Temple Architecture, and now houses the legislative assembly of the state of Karnataka.
