Bangalore Attractions-Iskcon TempleThe Iskcon temple of Bangalore is a magnificent temple built to the west of the Chord Road in the city of Bangalore. The auspicious temple is an architectural marvel, designed in neo-classical style while incorporating all hi tech amenities of today's era. The temple is placed on a seven-acre hillock, known as the 'Hare Krishna Hill'. The temple was built as a tribute to Shri Prabhupada, the founder of the ISKCON group on his 100 th birth anniversary. The temple comprises of an ISKCON Vedic museum, exhibititon areas,Vedic Theatre, a lecture hall, lush landscaped gardens and an open-air amphitheater, where concerts and festivals are organized. The entrance of the temple is beautifully adorned with patterned arches and exquisite artificial waterfalls. The glazing exteriors and lavish interiors of the temple makes it an eye candy for tourists. The temple houses a 10,000 sq ft long prayer (kirtan) hall called 'Hari Naam Kirtan'. So all in all the holy temple is a mesmerizing site and must be watched while in Bangalore.
