The comely hill station, Nandi Hills is situated at a distance of 65 kms from the Bangalore city. It is said that the hill station served as a summer retreat for Tipu sultan, the Sultan of Mysore. Nandi Hill Station was also an eye candy of Britishers, under whose reign it turned in to an apt and known Hill station. One has to climb 1,175 steps to reach the exotic hills.
